Education and Employment Support Case Manager
Delco group home Center for Families - full time to assist clients with enrollment in educational programs and teach job readiness skills including assisting clients with using our budget work sheets and facilitating involvement in our Self-Sufficiency Project. Provide follow up for the first few months post discharge to ensure job continuation. Education and Support Counselor will also provide case management to four mothers. BA Degree required. Must be trained-in trauma-informed services and be familiar with the S.E.L.F. model; must also be comfortable addressing sexual abuse and domestic violence issues. Flexible hours required. Life Skill Counselor

To provide life skill training and case management services to older adolescent teen mothers and teen girls and their children in a Transitional Living Program. Must understand teen parent and teen girls’ issues and must have some knowledge of basic life skills. FT-40 hour week requires flexible scheduling. BSW or related bachelor’s degree required. AmeriCorps* VISTA Volunteer

PathWaysPA is currently recruiting for an AmeriCorps* VISTA to work in our self-sufficiency department.  The Self-Sufficiency Department projects focus on increasing financial literacy, providing information and assistance on benefits, free income tax preparation and tax credits education and links to sustaining career choices for low-income working individuals and families.  Specifically, the VISTA will help build partnerships with local and state organizations and agencies, recruit and manage volunteers,

develop procedures and mechanisms for evaluating our progress, develop processes and fundraising ideas

in order to sustain the department, develop and update department publications and assist in our advocacy and policy work. 

 

Requirements:

        Some College Course-work (Degree preferred)

         Basic Computer Skills (Intermediate or Advanced a plus)

         Strong Interpersonal Skills

         Strong Work Ethic

         Good Communication Skills – Oral & Written

         Good Organizational Skills

         Experience working with diverse populations
